2008 Open Competitions
Visitors are more than welcome to
enter our Open events throughout the season. Entry sheets
are posted on the clubhouse noticeboard a couple of months
in advance but you can also enter by e-mailing your details
by the Wednesday before the event. Entry fee for the 18
hole events are usually £5 and can be paid on the
day. The exception is the extremely popular Stromness Open
which has restricted field (details below).
The Stromness Open 2008
Saturday, August 2nd.
This extremely popular 36 hole event takes place the first Saturday in August and entries are always oversubscribed. It is important to get your entry form & payment returned as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
The field is limited to the first 128 entrants with groups of 4 commencing play at 5.30am. The draw is handicap seeded.
